LA Day Trips
Coming to LA and want to do something fun while you're here?
We build custom days (or a few days) around what you're actually into. Give us an idea of what sounds good and we'll take it from there.
✦ A Classic LA DayGenerally, a day like this is lunch, an activity and a museum or garden, paired up based on what's actually close together so we're not spending the day in the car. There are a few ways we could put it together depending on what you're into. For instance, if LACMA or the Academy Museum sounds good, we'd grab lunch nearby at Sonoratown beforehand and spend the afternoon there.
If the Huntington Gardens out in San Marino is more your speed, Holbox makes for a great lunch stop on the way, and then we'd spend the rest of the day exploring the gardens.
Either way, it's about picking a part of the city and making the most of it without rushing around.
This one's built around a live event, with everything else in the day shaped around it so we're not rushing to make first pitch, tip-off or kickoff. A few options depending on the season and what you're into.
A Dodgers game is a classic pick, a Lakers game brings that arena energy if basketball's your thing, and an LAFC match is great if soccer's more your speed. Either way, we'll handle tickets and timing so all you have to do is show up and enjoy it.
✦ Game Days
For anyone who wants a bit more variety or a change of pace from the museum-and-lunch combo, there are a few directions we could go depending on what sounds fun.
Griffith Observatory is great for sweeping city views and a bit of history, Santa Monica gives you the beach and pier energy, the new Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Exposition Park is a stunning space dedicated to visual storytelling and comic art and an amusement park is always an option if that's more your speed. We'll build the day around whichever of these actually excites you.
✦ Other places to explore
If you're around for two or three days, we can build out a longer stay instead of just one day. It really depends on your interests and how much ground you want to cover.
We might mix a museum day with a game day, or spread out a few different neighborhoods across the visit so nothing feels rushed. Just let us know how long you're around and we'll shape something around that.
✦ More than a day
✦ Tell us what you likeThis one's less about a set plan and more about a conversation, no fixed structure, just a starting point.
Give us a couple of things you're into… the zoo? Some hiking? Real local neighborhood gems? We'll come back with ideas you'll actually be excited about.
That's kind of our whole approach anyway.
Trip Price: Depends on what you have in mind
Every LA day trip is built around what you want to do, so pricing depends on the activities, how many days you're with us, and any support needs along the way.
A quick day out costs a lot less than a multi-day custom itinerary, and we'll walk you through exactly what's included once we know what you're picturing.
